1. Who is MINERALE?
MINERALE is an Australian owned and operated company specialising in all natural mineral makeup. We are an online mineral makeup store based in Sydney. We found that many people are concerned about their skin and the build-up of chemicals from using conventional makeup, and that there was a lack of truly natural makeup available, therefore MINERALE was born.

2. Where are the products made?
Right here in Australia. Our products are 100% Australian owned, formulated, produced and packed.

3. Where can I purchase MINERALE products?
All MINERALE products can be purchased from the website, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment can be made by credit card or direct bank deposit.

4. What is True Mineral Makeup?
Many companies claim they are a mineral makeup brand, when in reality they do not offer true mineral makeup products. These companies often use fillers such as talc or bismuth-oxychloride (more info) but claim their products are mineral makeup when they are not truly natural.

True mineral makeup is all-natural and are certified vegan (cruelty free). Mineral makeup are made from the natural minerals from the earth, and come in a loose powder or mineral form. The makeup is dry and contains no moisture, therefore is classified in-organic. This means bacteria cannot grow or live in the products, and therefore requires no chemicals, preservatives, additives or harsh chemicals.

MINERALE is a true mineral makeup brand. Our products are completely natural, certified vegan, and contain absolutely no chemicals or cheap fillers. Our products are completely free of Ferric Ferrocyanide, Animal products, artificial dyes, FD&C colours, Talc, Carmine (also known as Cochineal), Bismuth Oxychloride, Mineral Oil (and its derivatives) and paraben preservatives

5. Are the products tested?
MINERALE products are designed to be safe and natural. Our products have undergone extensive scientific testing to ensure the products are totally safe and of the highest quality. MINERALE products are not tested on animals. MINERALE has been certified Cruelty Free by Choose Cruelty Free, A not-for-profit organisation that promotes cruelty-free living, so you can rest assured that our products are completely vegan and cruelty free.
The following tests have been carried out on all our products: Dermatological Testing, Microbiological Efficacy, Compatibility Testing (Product vs Packaging Material), Stability Testing, Claims Testing. In addition, all testing complies with local environmental laws and regulations, ensuring that high-quality products are produced whilst maintaining minimal environmental impact.

6. Why should I use MINERALE products?
MINERALE products are of the highest quality mineral makeup available. Using high quality natural products protects your skin from ageing and damage caused from chemicals. MINERALE products contain a high level of zinc oxide, which protects your skin while you're wearing it.

7. Do you use FD&C colours?
FD&C colours can sometimes be used to change the pigment of Mica. Our products do not use any Micas that have been coated or mixed with FD&C colours. Micas are also not created equally. Our products contain only the highest quality micas, making our products very high quality.

8. Does MINERALE use nanotechnology?
The term nanoparticle is used to refer to small particles where all three dimensions is less than 100 nanometres.

The zinc oxide contained within all MINERALE products has a particle size of approximately 0.2 microns, meaning 200 nanometres, so it is twice the size of a nanonized particle. This zinc oxide is invisible when applied to the skin but still offers both broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection without being able to penetrate the skin layers.

The titanium dioxide particle contained within all MINERALE products ranges from 1.0 to 1.7 microns, however the average particle size is about 1.5 microns (this is 1500 nanometres). Therefore it is 150 times the size of a nanonized particle. Therefore the titanium dioxide used in all our products is not nanonized, and not small enough to penetrate through the skin layers.

9. I have sensitive skin, can I use mineral makeup?
Yes. MINERALE products are perfect for sensitive skin, as it causes no irritations. In fact, our products are so natural it will protect and soothe your skin while you wear it.

10. Will I experience any reactions?
Our products are very high quality and completely natural. You should not experience any reactions as a result of using our products. Unless you are allergic to the raw ingredients contained in the products, the products are great for all skin types, being completely natural.

11. Are MINERALE products SPF rated?
Yes. All MINERALE foundations are rated SPF 20+ broad spectrum.

12. Are MINERALE products tested on animals?
No. All our products are cruelty free and certified vegan, including our makeup brushes. We don't use any animal products as all our products are natural minerals from the earth. We do not test on animals, or harm the environment in the process of making our products. In addition, MINERALE has been certified Cruelty Free by Choose Cruelty Free, A not-for-profit organisation that promotes cruelty-free living, so you can rest assured that our products are completely vegan and cruelty free.

13. How can I choose the right foundation shade and are there samples?
The best way to choose the right foundation shade for you is to find the right Revlon shade for your skin tone, and match the corresponding MINERALE Foundation shades listed on the website. This is the best and quickest way to match the correct shade. Failing that, samples packs can be ordered for a nominal fee. This is to cover our processing and handling costs. In addition we will send you a discount store coupon* for the total amount which you can use for any product in store. This means that if you purchase any product after purchasing the samples you will get the samples FREE OF CHARGE.Alternatively you may select the samples FREE OF CHARGE if you purchase any product.
